The time has come to introduce Autohive’s early access program! It’s been incredible to see the market’s response to this platform. Many of you have expressed interest in early access to our Beta Platform; thank you, you will all play a vital role.

Our early access program is now underway. For those of you who received an email with login information, Welcome! This blog post is for you.

Building the community

As part of the early access group, you’ll be part of the early community around Autohive. Your feedback will extend beyond the product experience and help sculpt a great community.

We’re starting with a Discord server for Autohive. You can join here.

Providing feedback

The #feedback channel on the Autohive Discord channel is the best place to provide feedback.

What type of feedback are we looking for?

What things do you find frustrating in the current product experience?

Provide as much detail as you can. We welcome sharing thoughts on how an experience could be improved, and are happy to discuss the approaches to improvements with folks in the #feedback channel in Discord.

What are the paper cuts?

Those small things that are frustrating to you. Often, we can focus on significant issues or feel that an issue is too small to raise as a problem. Instead, however, we welcome sharing even the most minor issues. Often, the smallest issues are the ones that build up over time, so we like to remove them early.

What was surprising and exciting?

Sharing the stories of the things you found delightful is also very helpful. We’re working hard on nailing the narrative for Autohive and how we speak to the general market about the platform. Hearing positive use cases and experiences helps us better tell that story to the right audience.

The Feedback Agent

For those smaller items you pick up, we recommend engaging with the Feedback Agent. This agent is designed to summarize your feedback and send it straight to the development team. Any bugs, feature requests, or observations will be helpful to the team. Feel free to drop a screenshot or recording into the message also.

You can access the Feedback Agent by clicking on “All agents” in the sidebar of your Autohive app and then selecting “Feedback Agent” from the Agent list.

Is this hush-hush? NO!

Regarding early access, you may be wondering if you can talk about your experiences with Autohive. The short answer is: Yes, and please do. There are no NDAs here, and we don’t want to tie you down with legal documents.

• You’re welcome and encouraged to share that you have early access to Autohive.
• We’d appreciate the constructive feedback on challenges in the #feedback channel in Discord and UX feedback using the Feedback Agent.
• You may post screenshots online. Be mindful that we’re actively iterating the system’s design through this time, so visuals will not likely be final.
• You will not be billed through the early access stage. We’re assessing what utilization looks like to help create a sensible pricing system for users. We ask that you don’t deliberately be abusive at this time, but equally, we don’t want you worrying about costs while you experiment.
• We will most likely nuke all the data in the system when we do the major V1 launch after the early access time. If there are critical things you’d like to keep (agents, etc), please let us know in the Discord channel.
