What's New This Week: 4–11 September 2026

post-thumb

This week brings a new way to work with documents in Autohive. You can open PDF, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files in the new viewer, select text, a spreadsheet range, or a slide, then ask the AI to make an edit or answer a question. It keeps the work close to the file itself, whether you’re reviewing a document, working through a spreadsheet, or looking at a presentation.

Agent capabilities also expanded across the platform. Agents can manage their own webhooks, while Agent Creator can manage an agent’s sub-agents, including approving or removing them. New approval previews show exactly what an AI action is about to do before you approve it, giving you a clearer view of the action ahead.

Connections are growing too. Team tier workspaces can connect all email accounts to one workspace, Google Calendar is available directly in Meetings, and three new integrations are now available for Karakeep, OpenRouteService, and Stats NZ Datafinder.

Everything We Shipped This Week

🚀 New Features

  • Document Viewer & AI Editing: A new viewer for PDF, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files is here. Select text, a spreadsheet range, or a slide directly inside it and ask the AI to make edits or answer questions.
  • Multiple Email Connections: Team tier workspaces can now connect all their email accounts to a single Autohive workspace at once.
  • Agent Webhooks: Agents can now create, pause, and delete their own webhooks, giving your automations more independence.
  • Google Calendar for Meetings: You can now connect Google Calendar directly into Meetings.
  • Approval Previews: Before you approve an AI action, you can now see a clear preview of exactly what it’s about to do.
  • Agent Creator Sub-Agents: Agent Creator can now manage the sub-agents attached to an agent, including approving or removing them.
  • Karakeep Integration: Now published and available, complete with documentation.
  • OpenRouteService Integration: Turns addresses into precise map coordinates, checks driving distance and time from a location, and builds coverage-area maps for delivery, sales, or planning.
  • Stats NZ Datafinder Integration: Lets agents work directly with official New Zealand geographic and census data, including lookups by suburb, coordinate, or custom boundary.

✨ Improvements

  • Mobile Files no longer allows pinch-to-zoom, so the layout stays aligned and folder navigation works properly.
  • Personal workspaces no longer show a confusing “everybody” filter, since it’s just you there.
  • Your current conversation is now highlighted in chat history, so it’s easy to see which one you’re viewing.
  • You can now jump straight to a filtered view of your plan’s integrations from your workspace.
  • Onboarding no longer shows the “unlock credits” prompt.
  • Achievements are now tracked more accurately, with badges to display them coming soon.
  • Documents that previously failed to index can now be searched properly, so agents can find and use more of your files.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where bullet points weren’t displaying correctly in Word documents.
  • Fixed onboarding links, so the Starter Pack’s marketplace link and “Chat with Agent” links now open correctly within your workspace.

That’s the week’s full roundup. We’re already working on what comes next.
